Hi All,
Thanks much for all of the thoughtful suggestions that were sent in through the listserv and Rachel’s comment board. A few of us have taken a stab at some synthesis of all of that material into a somewhat coherent agenda.
Can’t stress enough that this is just a draft! Please leave comments. Also, this program clearly doesn’t include any of the worship or social activities that have already been discussed. The plan is to mash this panel agenda with the prayer times and social activities in order to have an actual working agenda by May 1! I know, hard to believe.
Happy Commenting…

Part of what’s neat about this is the way the post crystallizes where we are at one moment in time. Already since you posted this I’ve seen a flurry of emails about it, and it’s already shifting and changing a little. It’s neat to have a running chronicle of how our project evolves…

Looks like a pretty good program. The only thing I don’t see on this is something about the meditative pieces I see on some progressive faith blogs. Maybe that could be a breakout group?

This looks good. Is it possible to request open time for meetings or a break-out session?
Comment by Paula McConnell — April 22, 2006 @ 3:00 am
Dan and Paula, thanks for your comments! In the new version of the schedule, there’s a breakout session on blogging about meditation — and also five other breakout sessions on other subjects. :-) We hope to post a revised version of the weekend schedule by the end of this week; stay tuned…

Okay — I’m feeling stupid, but what I can’t seem to find is WHERE is this going to be held?
Comment by Carly — April 27, 2006 @ 4:59 pm
Carly — I’m sorry that information isn’t obvious! (You can find it here, by the by.) The conference will be in Montclair, New Jersey, at the Montclair State University Conference Center. We hope that this will become an annual event and will move around the country each year.
