Transportation
Here’s some things you need to know about getting to and from the BlogCon.
If you can arrange to at all, fly into Newark Liberty Airport or take Amtrack to the Newark Liberty Airport Stop. We will have transportation from that point to the hotel. If you are going to need transportation, please send me an email at texan-at-xpatriatedtexan-dot-com so I can give you my cell phone number. Otherwise it’s going to be hard to tell who you are supposed to ride with. We’ll also provide you a ride back to the airport or train station on Sunday.
You are welcome to rent a car or drive in, of course. Be aware that the hotel is now owned by La Quinta, but the signage still says "Wellesley Inn". It’s on Rt. 3 East in Clifton. If you need directions, call the hotel at (973) 788-6500. The address is 265 Rt. 3, Clifton, NJ (so you can plot it in Mapquest).
Transportation between the hotel and the conference will be provided, but directions will be available for those who are driving. We’ll be gathering approximately an hour before the first event on each day of the conference and return as soon as we have a full load after the last event. If you need further transportation during the day, we’ll try to accomodate you, but we can’t promise.
