Thank you for having this blog. I love it. I love the idea of religion, faith, spirituality being in the hands of people... people doing good, loving, sharing, being with (the) God (of their understanding).

Thank you.

With love,

I'm severely disabled and housebound; the constraints on my time require that I focus on managing my own site. But this is something that sounds like it would be great to participate in even if I can't help out. Maybe something I could receive email notification about?

I'm sorry you didn't know about it, too; it would have been such a pleasure to meet in person. Well, perhaps next year.

(And yes, we hope a lot will be posted, both on this blog and on other participants' blogs. I assume that once all is said and done, we'll post a roundup of as many conference-related posts as we can find...)

Thanks for the father's day link to my blog. But I'm not clear about the context the link was put in. Just in case there is any issue, my father passed away and i still love and miss him terribly even though our relationship was... bittersweet in some respects. I didn't elaborate on my blog but I hope that, just because i chose to include links to Boy named Sue and Cats in the Craddle for that day, people don't assume those songs are close to what my relationship with my father was like or some kind of anti-father's day statement or anything of that nature.

Thanks again for including the link.

Michelle, I'm sorry about that -- let me look into it and see what I can sleuth out. I think those graphics still exist; we may just need to upload them to our blog host. I'll post here if/when we manage that. Thanks for your patience!

Hey, what happened to the graphic for the carnival? I did a Google image search, but all the full sized graphics seem to have disappeared!

A couple of thigns on the lodging situation--first, it looks like this hotel is no longer a Wellesley Inn. It's a La Quinta now, according to the reservations center I called. Also, the hotel does not want you to call them to book rooms, they want you to call La Quinta's central res number at (800) 531-5900. I was able to get a king-sized bed non-smoking for $69.00/night on the Montclair State rate.

Anyhow, all my travel stuff is booked now, which is a load off my mind. I'm coming in at 1:52pm on Friday. I almost booked a flight that arrived like twenty minutes before Rachel's shabbat service--thank goodness I realized that and booked an earlier flight!

I wish I could attend your blog conference. I consider myself a Christian progressive - one of "Jesus' liberals" - and post calls for peace, tolerance and shared responsibility both on my website and at http://clyo.blogspot.com.

Thanks for working on this. I made reservations last week for a plane ticket, hotel, and car rental. I'm already booked at the Wellesley Inn at the $79.00 per night room rate that you can get on Yahoo Travel.

Since I've already got an economy car rented, I can transport others who are flying into Newark Friday evening. My flight arrives at 7:20 PM. I can probably upgrade to a larger vehicle if there are several who need transportation.

Carly -- I'm sorry that information isn't obvious! (You can find it here, by the by.) The conference will be in Montclair, New Jersey, at the Montclair State University Conference Center. We hope that this will become an annual event and will move around the country each year.

Dan and Paula, thanks for your comments! In the new version of the schedule, there's a breakout session on blogging about meditation -- and also five other breakout sessions on other subjects. :-) We hope to post a revised version of the weekend schedule by the end of this week; stay tuned...

Looks like a pretty good program. The only thing I don't see on this is something about the meditative pieces I see on some progressive faith blogs. Maybe that could be a breakout group?
